Service Provider: FT Travel & Tours (Islamabad, Pakistan)
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contractual agreement between the client or participant (“Traveler,” “you,” or “your”) and FT Travel & Tours (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), registered and operating under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
By submitting an online booking request, paying an initial deposit, signing a tour proposal, or embarking on any organized expedition, you expressly affirm that you have read, comprehended, and agreed to be bound by every provision contained in this Agreement.
A tour booking is formally confirmed only upon receipt of an advance deposit. For standard domestic holiday packages, a minimum advance deposit of 30% to 50% of the total package value is required to secure transport fleet reservations, hotel room blocks, and guide assignments. For peak-season tours (Cherry Blossom, Autumn Hunza, Eid holidays), a 50% advance deposit is mandatory.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 calendar days prior to the departure date. For group join-in tours departing from Islamabad, remaining dues may be settled upon arrival at the designated Islamabad briefing point prior to vehicle boarding, subject to prior written approval from management.
Payments are accepted via Inter-Bank Fund Transfer (IBFT) to our official corporate bank accounts, authorized online credit/debit card payment links, or verified cash deposits. Bank transaction reference slips must be submitted to our billing team for payment verification.
Each tour package includes strictly those amenities itemized on the approved itinerary invoice. Standard inclusions typically encompass:
Unless expressly stated in writing, tour pricing excludes:
Domestic Pakistan tour packages are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). International tours are quoted in USD or PKR exchange equivalents. FT Travel & Tours reserves the right to adjust tour rates prior to final payment receipt in the event of extraordinary government tax revisions, sudden fuel tariff spikes exceeding 15%, or sharp currency devaluations.
Notice of cancellation must be communicated in writing via email to [email protected] or via verified WhatsApp to our support helpline. The cancellation charge is calculated based on the timestamp when formal notification is received:
| Cancellation Timeline | Deduction Applied | Refund Eligibility |
|---|---|---|
| 15 or more days prior to departure | 10% Administrative Fee | 90% of total package cost refunded |
| 8 to 14 days prior to departure | 30% Deduction | 70% of total package cost refunded |
| 4 to 7 days prior to departure | 50% Deduction | 50% of total package cost refunded |
| Less than 72 hours or No-Show | 100% Non-refundable | 0% Refund (Complete forfeiture) |
Note on Non-Refundable Expenses: Regardless of the cancellation tier, non-refundable third-party costs already disbursed (including non-refundable airline tickets, special peak-season hotel guarantees, and government permit charges) are strictly non-refundable. Eligible refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days through the original mode of payment.
Expeditions across Northern Pakistan traverse rugged terrain subject to extreme weather, active seismic activity, rapid river swells, and geological events. A “Force Majeure” event includes, but is not limited to, rockfalls, landslides, road closures (e.g., Karakoram Highway, Babusar Pass, Lowari Tunnel), severe blizzards, flash floods, civil unrest, political strikes, bridge damage, flight cancellations (Gilgit and Skardu airports operate under Visual Flight Rules and flights are frequently grounded due to cloud cover), or government-mandated travel restrictions.
In any Force Majeure event, our tour managers possess sole discretion to modify, truncate, or re-route itineraries in real time to ensure passenger safety. Every reasonable effort will be made to deliver equivalent alternate experiences.
FT Travel & Tours is not financially liable for delays, missed connections, or extended stays resulting from Force Majeure events. Any supplementary expenses incurred—such as extra hotel nights, additional meal requirements, alternate 4x4 jeep hiring, or emergency air transfers—are the sole financial responsibility of the traveler.
High-altitude destinations (such as Hunza, Skardu, Deosai Plains, Khunjerab Pass at 15,397 ft) demand sound cardiovascular health. Travelers are responsible for assessing their physical fitness and consulting a medical professional. Travelers must notify Company management of any chronic medical vulnerabilities prior to departure.
We strongly advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel and emergency evacuation insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency air-ambulance evacuation, and baggage loss.
Travelers must respect the cultural heritage, religious traditions, and environmental sanctity of the communities visited across Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy regarding:
Any traveler violating these standards may be expelled from the tour immediately without right of refund or reimbursement for return transit.
FT Travel & Tours operates as a tour organizer coordinating services between clients and independent third-party vendors (independent transport operators, commercial airlines, state-owned highway authorities, and privately managed hotels). While we exercise meticulous diligence in selecting reputable service providers, FT Travel & Tours assumes no liability for personal injury, accidental death, loss of luggage, property damage, or delays caused by third-party negligence or acts of nature beyond our direct control.
This Agreement shall be construed, interpreted, and governed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with this Agreement that cannot be amicably settled between the parties shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of law located in Islamabad / Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
